We’re delighted to announce that thanks to a generous donor, Engera (UK) has secured funding for vital medical equipment that will make a real difference to the lives of the people we serve.
The clinic in Galeya Rogdha will soon be equipped with a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine. This important diagnostic tool will revolutionize the clinic’s ability to provide comprehensive healthcare services, especially for expectant mothers and patients with various medical conditions.
Ultrasound technology will enable improved prenatal care with accurate estimation of gestational age, early detection of pregnancy complications and appropriate intervention with improved fetal well-being assessment and perinatal condition monitoring. Furthermore, the diagnostic capabilities and informed medical decision making for medical and surgical conditions will be improved by the additional imaging capabilities.
We’re also pleased to have acquired a motorcycle for our outreach work. The motorcycle will allow staff to visit pregnant women frequently, educating them about their health and encouraging them to continue prenatal care and birth preparation. Whether it’s immunizations, screenings or maternal and child health services, this motorcycle will be a lifeline for Galeya Rogdha.
However, we recognize that sustainable energy is vital for reliable healthcare. While we seek funding for solar panels, we’ll temporarily use a generator to power Galeya Rogdha. This ensures uninterrupted healthcare on the road to a greener future.
