Another Engera medical volunteer team, led by our founders Dr. Francesco Silenzi and Dr. Giuseppe Indolfi, has departed from Florence for a mission in Gurage, Ethiopia. For Francesco and Giuseppe, this is the first mission since before the Covid outbreak. The team will work closely with local staff to provide medical care to the local communities, and will also train local staff. They will be based in the health centers of Zizencho, Shebraber, Getche and Maganesse, as part of our ongoing efforts to improve access to healthcare in rural Ethiopia.
