Engera is pleased to announce that as part of our strategy to improve healthcare in rural Ethiopia, we are focusing on improving the infrastructure of our existing clinics while also expanding into new areas.

We are excited to share that work has started on the renovation of the Burat health center in Gurage, which has been supported by Engera since our early days. This health center will be managed by Sister Surabhila, who was instrumental in setting up Zizencho, Engera’s first clinic. Sister Surabhila was initially going to manage the recently renovated Metcha clinic in the West Shewa zone, but due to security concerns in that area, it has been decided that she will manage Burat instead.

The renovation of Burat health center is part of our ongoing commitment to providing quality healthcare to the people of Ethiopia. By improving the infrastructure of our existing clinics, we can enhance the level of care we provide to patients and encourage more people to use our services.

We are grateful for the ongoing support of our donors and volunteers who make it possible for us to carry out this important work. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people in rural Ethiopia.
